| This is a simulated dyno test so take it with a pinch of salt. Right off the bat i agree with you that all the electric fans i have tried seem to have issues under extreme conditions. That being said on a stage III+++ we went from a 378 whp to 389 whp with the ONLY change being the electric fan. same tune, same starting water temp within 5 deg F, same day, same dyno etc etc. Most of the hp torque gains were from 3500 rpm up. So YES there is a hp benifit But unfortunately i have not yet found a e fan / Shroud combo that works well enough for me. If only there was a setup like that i'd be all for it but so far no luck. With A/C in Florida heat - FORGET IT PS - i have NOT tested Ash's setup so i have NO comments on his setup so please don't get on my case about that. i am just posting my experience with e-fans including Spal and Zirgo and different shrouds i designed. I have even tried a supposedly super high output Ford fan with no luck. Harry
